System requirements:

• Web server with support for PHP version 4.1.1 or better (including PHP 5).
• It is recommended to disable mod_security module.Php configuration should include the following options
• disabled safe_mod (default state)
  
• enabled file_uploads (default state)
  
• enabled CURL support (required for operation of some payment gateways and systems (such as PayPal, Authorize.NET, Google Checkout, etc), real-time shipping services (FedEx, UPS, DHL/Airborne) and for checking if the server supports a secure connection)
  
• installed GD library (recommended)
  
• MySQL database version 3.23 or better.

General
24/7 Cart runs on most server specific configurations ranging from dedicated servers to shared servers that utilize different PHP configurations such as register_globals. Although the software works well on Windows and Unix-like operating systems (Linux, FreeBSD, RedHat), we strongly recommend installing 24/7 Cart on Linux, FreeBSD or RedHat ones. The main reasons for our recommendation are the stable work of 24/7 Cart on a Unix-like operating system (it is more secure and allows more flexible control of file and directory permissions, etc.) and other performance advantages.
